I am running Mail Scanner 4/36/4 with Kaspesky 5.05 email virus scanner
using sendmail version 8.12.11.

Just recently it seems that the cron job

/etc/cron/hourly/update_virus_scanners gets stuck. (It seems to run over
and over again when i run a ps -aux

When this happens Mail Scanner dies, thus so does sendmail. All the
messages get stuck in the queue.

There is nothing really special about the machine its running on.

HP Xenon 1 gb of ram. Fedora Core 2

any ideas??
