spam checks on outgoing mail

Something I was thinking about today.


First, does anyone here just whitelist their internal mail server so
MailScanner never checks the mail to be as SPAM?

 

Are there any disadvantages to this setup?

 

Lastly, if you wanted to do so, the quickest way to whitelist your
internal mail from never being marked as spam, would be to put the IP
address in spam.whitelist.rules?

 

Just curious and thought I’d ask.
