should be IPv6 not Ipv6, my apologies, I actually tested it but didn't clip
and copy... I am working on a couple of other things and this conversation
was in the periphery and I shouldn't do that, I am sorry. Whole line:
if ($ip =~ /\[(?:IPv6:)?([\d.:abcdef]+)\]/) {
will match both formats.
