Taking out line 190 and 253 out of bitdefender-autoupdate fixed it for me, but I only implemeted that 24 hours ago, so we'll see. Using MS 4.33.3.

Hi there,

as i read, i am not the only one with a killed maschine via bdc --update.

Now, after uncommenting the bdc line in virus.conf and rebooting the
maschine it seems to work fine.

Now my questions:

Did your load also raise to the level 28 and up?
Did the uncommenting work on your maschine?
Do you think ,the problem is solved by now?

Because, after stating the bdc --update command on the shell, i got an
response, but it seems, that, if i do use the bdc-wrapper, it got stuck
again. So i had to uncomment the line again.

Any ideas?

Should i start the bdc --update as cronjob every day by now?

How do you handle this problem?

Greetings

Marcel
