format error: bad signature

Hi,

I have a message that generates defunt MailScanner processes. Running
MailScanner in debug mode I get lots of:

|format error: bad signature: 0x6c650920 at offset 42048 in file /var/spool/MailScanner/incoming/30783/i8GIKPJ32292/week3.zip at /usr/lib/MailScanner/MailScanner/MessageBatch.pm line 417

And MailScanner seems to be looping in this.

I'm running MailScanner 4.31.6 on a SuSE system (kernel 2.4.21-190-smp).

I haven't found anything in the archives and the MAQ is at the moment
not accessible (from my place).
