SpamAssassin 3.0 upgrade from 2.63-8

I am attempting to use Julian's RPM install for clamav/spamassassin3, at
the very end I get the following errors.  Do I need to uninstall
SpamAsssassin 2.63-8 before this will work?  There was no README to
document the proper procedure. (ie stop mailscanner? uninstall
spamassassin?)
