Error message about Socket.pm when starting MailScanner

Upon starting MailScanner 4.34-8 I get the error message below:

Bad arg length for Socket::pack_sockaddr_in, length is 0, should be 4 at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.5/sun4-solaris/Socket.pm line 373.

Running perl 5.8.5, SA 3.0.0, Clamav 0.80rc3

Any ideas? The perl socket package is up-to-date.
