Download the RedHat RPM distribution from
http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/files/4/rpm/MailScanner-4.34.8-1.rpm.tar.gz

tar xzf MailScanner-4.34.8-1.rpm.tar.gz

cd MailScanner-4.34.8-1

./install.sh

Then read what it outputs to keep an eye on the installation procedure.
When it finishes, it will print up a few lines of instructions and commands
that you *must* do to complete the installation.

and the MailScanner MAQ (address at the bottom of every posting to this list)
and buy the book, and read it :)
