Load Balancing + File Locking

Unfortunately, our budget is limited.  We really need to have independent
boxes scanning the Submitted folder.  That would be ideal.  If money was not
an issue, then I would definitely stick this on Beowulf.

Isn't it simpler to use MX records to do your load balancing?  Or a hardware
load balancer like coyotelinux sells?
