Thanks for your answer Peter.
Now I am running my first real problem
with Mailscanner, if someone have an idear:

-MailScanner-install-4.35.11
-postfix-2.1.5
-clamav-0.80

I've configure Postfix to move all messages
in the hold directory:

header_checks = regexp:/etc/postfix/header_checks
[root||mx] cat header_checks
/^Received:/ HOLD

I sent a light testing message with the eicar
virus as an attachment. This message is correctly
put in the hold directory and MailScanner seems to
detect it but don't process it correctly and keep
saying this message:

=======
Nov 27 04:17:13 mx MailScanner[6734]: MailScanner E-Mail Virus Scanner
version 4.35.11 starting...
Nov 27 04:17:13 mx MailScanner[6734]: Using locktype = flock
Nov 27 04:17:13 mx MailScanner[6734]: New Batch: Scanning 1 messages,
2811 bytes
Nov 27 04:17:13 mx MailScanner[6734]: Virus and Content Scanning: Starting
Nov 27 04:17:23 mx MailScanner[6742]: MailScanner E-Mail Virus Scanner
version 4.35.11 starting...
Nov 27 04:17:23 mx MailScanner[6742]: Using locktype = flock
Nov 27 04:17:23 mx MailScanner[6742]: New Batch: Scanning 1 messages,
2811 bytes
=========

After 5 minutes, this message is still in the hold directory.

I've checked directories permissions but everything seems to be okay:

[root||mx] cd /var/spool/
[root||mx] ls
total 36
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     root         4096 Nov 19 02:56 .
drwxr-xr-x   17 root     root         4096 Nov 16 23:40 ..
drwxr-xr-x    4 root     root         4096 Nov 19 02:56 MailScanner
drwxr-xr-x    2 root     root         4096 Nov 16 06:05 anacron
drwx------    2 root     root         4096 Nov 19 04:55 cron
drwxr-xr-x    2 root     root         4096 Jun  1  2000 lpd
drwxrwxr-x    2 root     mail         4096 Nov 27 03:46 mail
drwxr-x---    2 root     root         4096 Nov 19 02:56 mqueue.in
drwxr-xr-x   16 root     root         4096 Nov 18 07:59 postfix

[root||mx] cd MailScanner/
[root||mx] ls
total 16
drwxr-xr-x    4 root     root         4096 Nov 19 02:56 .
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     root         4096 Nov 19 02:56 ..
drwx------   12 postfix  root         4096 Nov 27 04:24 incoming
drwx------    2 postfix  root         4096 Nov 19 02:56 quarantine

And from MailScanner.conf

Run As User = postfix
Run As Group = postfix

Someone has an idea where I should look for an error ?
Is there a way to start MailScanner in debug mode ?

Thanks for your help.
