Hi Steve (and Julian, a bit further down),

As can be seen in the mailwatch-users list archive links you snipped in your reply, I already did that... Further one could see that Steve F (and lil' ol' me) had reached the conclusion that it'd be rather messy to fix this in MailWatch. My reason for asking here was solely because I (after looking at the code briefly) had a hope that it'd be easier to fix in MailScanner... Which Julians very elegant patch shows is possible;-).

Julian, I couldn't help myself... It's in production already, working splendidly (yeah, I missed the commuter train by a hair (Saw it fade into the distance, me still on the platform (breathing heavily from the sprint (And yes, I still have my skin attached, wife's just a bit miffed (setq 'wow-this-looks-like-lisp)))))... We'll see over the next couple of days how it holds up.
The best thing with it is that it's not MailWatch-centric (all "tools" would benefit from it), and is completely transparent to MailWatch.
I was hoping it'd be this simple, but hadn't worked my way through the "requeue bit" yet...:-)

Should perhaps go into the beta? I can see no real drawbacks with it.

Again, many thanks.
