Phishing PPs

I'm getting phalse positives (maybe the joke is getting a little old)
from the phishing code that I think could be fixed easily.  I get some
logged that look like:
Found phishing fraud from www.avalonpub.com claiming to be
www.avalonpub.com<br><br>

Could the fraud detection code be changed to ignore html tags like
these?  Is there any danger from stripping extra html tags from the <a></a>?
