RPM package conflict error

If you still receive this error:

RPM package conflict error.  The message was:
Test install failed because of package conflicts:
package perl-5.8.0-88.7 is already installed

When running `up2date -u` or `yum update` after installing MailScanner
4.35.9-1, you should be able to repair the rpm database by running the
following commands:

        rpm -e --nodeps perl

Yes I do mean this :) Then run:

        up2date -u

or

        yum update

Big disclaimer - This worked for me, your mileage may vary!
