this is what the log says in debug mode.

May 20 14:57:08 canon MailScanner[14141]: lock.pl sees Config  LockType
=  flock
May 20 14:57:08 canon MailScanner[14141]: lock.pl sees have_module =  0
May 20 14:57:08 canon MailScanner[14141]: Using locktype = flock

That's it.  There is no more output
