That article is a farce.

"All the products except Brightmail and SpamAssassin allow end-users to add senders to the domain whitelist themselves."

The sad part is that people read articles like this and take it as gospel. Most don't do any research themselves and will write-off a product like SpamAssassin based on one bad article with lots of inaccuracies.
