MailScanner or Sendmail dropping the ball? (fwd)

Hello Julian

Been there and hate what I see.

smtp#sendmail -q -v
Running /var/spool/mqueue/i2OLLkXe028077 (sequence 1 of 108)

smtp#sendmail -bp |more
/var/spool/mqueue (10988 requests)

There seems to be a very big difference from what a queue runner see's to
what is actually in the queue.
