mailscanner problems

Main problem is that "Cannot create + lock headers" does not happen
before there is over 100 Mailscanners in memory - so it's more an effect
rather than cause. I still dont understand why Mailscanner after
finishing scan does not quit memory. What would cause this? could it be
something to do with PPC arch?
