Even worse, this is client installed software, so it's just ignorant
users doing what ignorant users do; clicking buttons, feeling empowered
to 'report that spammer'.
I emailed one such user who had send us a dozen or so complaints and
explained the problem, but was almost immediately rewarded with another
complaint, my email had been returned to me as spam.
I emailed the company. No response. It's going to take some awareness on
the part of consumers to get these companies to make better software.
That's why I was hoping there was some sort of organization that had
some respect in this area that could exert some pressure on these
companies via the media, or by rewarding them with some silly logo for
their site: 'A Member of the Responsible AntiSpam Software Association'
