hi

I am using MailScanner 4.28.6-1, SA 2.63
In MailScanner.conf I had,

# SpamAssassin User State Dir = /var/spool/MailScanner/spamassassin
SpamAssassin User State Dir =

My / partition was getting filled up in no time as /root/.spamassassin had all the bayes_toks.expire* files. So I changed the two lines to,

SpamAssassin User State Dir = /var/spool/MailScanner/spamassassin
# SpamAssassin User State Dir =

I did this /var has more space. But is there anyother settings I have to change in MailScanner.conf [e.g. purging old bayes files or something like that]?

regards,
