anti-virus problems

Hi,

I have two issues with virus scanners.

 

First, mailscanner still thinks I have the mcafee virus scanner even
though it's been uninstalled.

 

Second, I've installed the free panda pavcl, and mailscanner doesn't
seem to be using it, or updating it.

 

Any suggestions?
