Mailscanner success now the next step

All ,

have succesfully configured exim, mailscanner and f-prot under Debian woody.
Now I want to get the mail that I normally would get via POP3 from other
email accounts I have littered around the place and pass it through
Mailscanner.

What I want to do is use GETMAIL to retrieve the mail which then has to pass
it through to Mailscanner (how) and then pass it into a MAILDIR under my
/homedir after it has been scanned and antispammed.

GETMAIL is no problem (to poll and download) but how do I send the email
into mailscanner and have it drop into my MAILDIR without it going through
the exim process again .... have searched the list and the nearest I could
come up with is

Unfortunately this is not enough info for me and I surely cant be the only
one that wants to do this.
