easy view/extract from mail archive

Using the MS mail archiving feature, what would folks suggest to make it easy
for a non technical office administrator / management type to be able to view
the messages in the archive and search/extract a message or 2 or 20?
Preferably a solution that is easily implemented on an MS Windows machine and
doesn't require him/her to know/learn or understand unix.
