Unless i set LANG=C i cant compile loads of stuf on RH9, so now its the
first thying i do, and now i learnt from a perl God (Julian) that its
also important to remove the utf stuff, who knows why...the below works
fine for me now, other have said LANG=en_US is good, but i dont knwo the
difference, in regards to effect on the workings of perl or MS.
