Postfix question : how to make Postfix scan messages selectively

Hi,

I've seen that the new method to use MailScanner with Postfix is to have
a single Postfix instance running, and holding messages by matching an
always-present header (<http://minilien.com/?I7hiibA85b>). I'm
currently running MS 4.29.7 with Postfix 2.0.16 on Debian Sarge in
split mode (with two Postfix instances), and with a twist : I have
limited what is deferred, so as to not scan messages that are to be
relayed to another server, for instance. That is to say, I've this
in /etc/postfix.in/main.cf :

defer_transports = local, virtual

Thus, any outgoing message (smtp transport) or relayed message (relay
transport) is not scanned.

So, the question is : is such a setup achievable with the new
single-instance Postfix setup ? If so, does anyone knows how ? I don't
see any header that would do the job, it would probably need a more
complicated (and probably buggy) regular expression. If it is not
possible to do this easily, will the old split method continue to be
supported in upcoming versions ?

Another problem that I see is, this will require Postfix to analyze each
message's headers. Am I right in thinking this will have an impact on
the load of a busy server ?

Cheers,
