DNS queries taking too long? No caching nameserver? Slow connection (128k or
something)?

Subject: A new behavior?...SpamAssassin timed out (with no network checks)
and was killed & Disabled RBL SBL+XBL as reached 7/10 timeouts

Hi All,

Im using MailScanner -4.30.3-2and SpamAssassin-2.63 on Linux redhat 8.0
i have 3 problems:
1. SpamAssassin timed out (with no network checks) and was killed
2. SpamAssassin timed out and was killed, failure 22 of 20
3. Disabled RBL SBL+XBL as reached 7/10 timeouts

Because of these 3 problems almost every spam email is getting into my
organization.
Im getting these error in every process for a new mail that gets into
the MailScanner.

Those are the operations I tried to make and fix the problem ... but
pointlessly:

1. increase the RBL time out (60, 90, 120 etc)
2. Delete the SBL+XBL from Spam List line in the MailScanner file.
3. Certifying that the server can make DNS queries.
4. Debug to spamassassin.

someone maybe can tell me what is the problem ?
Thanks a lot.
