Ok the alias_maps bit is just where Postfix will look up valid users to
decide whether to accept or bounce the message. Before going there you
just need to think if that is your best method of doing this.

Firstly, how many users are you scanning for? Secondly, what is your end
destination server running (Exchange, for example?). The answers to
these will dictate how to set up the server. The beauty of Postfix
(IMHO) is that there are many easy ways to skin the same animal and your
personal circumstances will dictate what will work best.
