If you can, start from scratch.

Install Postfix, get it recieving mail and forwarding to another email
server - this is called a relay, its VERY simple you should be able to
do this with only 3 or 4 changes to main.cf and no changes to master.cf
- forget chroot jails etc for now- we just want a relay. Always install
postfix from source or via apt/ports tree, dont use RPMs.

OK relay is now working PERFECTLY, before you try anything else. If you
relay isnt working DO NOT PROCEED, fix you relay.

Install MailScanner and configure postfix to HOLD messages for scanning
based on the instructions on the www.mailscanner.info website, they work
fine, we have all used them.

Then install clam, test, install SA from source, test etc etc
