Silencing some blocked filenames/filetypes

Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but I cannot seem to find any
documentation, nor a configuration option, which details treating some
unwanted filetypes/filenames (ie: .scr, .lnk, etc...) quietly like
MailScanner.conf's "Silent Viruses" option). In effect, I'm looking for
a "Silent Files" and "Still Deliver Silent Files" option. Is there an
existing method for doing this? The online docs dont cover this, but is
this what filename.rules.conf and filetype.rules.conf's recently added
deny+delete can do?
