You are probably better off applying the patch if you can. But YMMV with
either route. Sorry, this code changed quite a lot recently, and both the
new and the old versions suffered from the problem.

If you can't get the patch or the replacement Message.pm to work, you will
have to upgrade to 4.32.4 (i.e. the latest version I released yesterday).
