Archive Mail

Interesting idea; I would like to further elaborate on that answer and maybe
someone could tell me if it would work:
I need separate mbox files for each person; "forward archive at localhost"
would create one giant file. If I had a ruleset like:
Non Spam Actions = /etc/MailScanner/rules/nonspam.rules
nonspam.rules:
To: user1 at localhost forward archive-user1 at localhost deliver
To: user2 at localhost forward archive-user2 at localhost deliver
But then, I would have to also add:
To: archive-user1 at localhost deliver
To: archive-user2 at localhost deliver
So as to not loop the whole thing, right?
I think it would be a __tch to maintain, plus I still have to have
user+archive-user as users, check each one individually instead of my
current setup, which has everything logged to separate mbox files on a
single user's (archive-user, for example) /home/mail folder, so I can read
it using Squirrelmail or any other IMAP client. Every different user "looks
like" separate folders.
Another idea would be to use your suggestion, then create rules in
Squirrelmail that would separate the big giant mbox file into folders using
"From: user1 -> folder1" rules. A small drain on the server at the moment
you log into your IMAP inbox, but not too big if you check it every day.
Still another idea would be a procmail recipe in that archive-user's folder,
that would do the same.
Thanks for giving me all these ideas. I sure hope that "archive
post-scanning" becomes an option in the future, anyways; would save a lot of
time, effort and maintenance.

Why can't you simply create a local archive user, then set
Non Spam Actions = forward archive at localhost deliver
