Advice for file locking in ReiserFS

I know that Reiser FS has file locking problems, and I also know that this
could result in mail problems like 'No message collected' and/or duplicated
mail headers.

I would like to know which is the advice for the file locking scheme for
MailScanner for this file system (ReiserFS).
