We get these as well but there are no passwords on them. Try opening one of
those 78 byte zips and you will see what I mean.

Subject: password protected zips getting through

Hello all...

even though I have "Allow Password-Protected Archives = no" in my
mailscanner conf, I still get emails going through with apparently password
protected zip files attached , mind you the zip files are empty, so I do not
know if its mailscanner doing something to it or they are that way before
they get to the server as I do not seem to see any reference in my logs to
mail scanner doing anything to these files.....??

I am running MS 4.28
SA 2.63

with a few conf files

On redhat 9.0

Thanks

:)

Rob....
