I have rules like these in my .procmailrc for each list I read:

:0:
* ^List-Id: <debian-security.lists.debian.org>
LISTS/DEBSECURITY

:0:
* ^To: MAILSCANNER at JISCMAIL.AC.UK
LISTS/MAILSCANNER


Then in my ~/.mutt/muttrc a line like this:

mailboxes ! +LISTS/MAILSCANNER +LISTS/DEBSECURITY


Then when I hit 'c' mutt cycles through all the mboxes that have new
mail in the order they are listed in my muttrc.
