PLEEEEEASE learn to quote. This entire thread is getting more and more
tiresome to follow.

The port never was at /usr/ports/net/mailscanner. You should find it at
/usr/ports/mail/mailscanner

Please delete everything you have done so far. Reinstall from this port
(4.31.someting) follow the intructions, use mailscanner.sh and mta.sh,
use sendmail_enable="NONE" (not "NO") in rc.conf and then we see what
happens...
