Well, I spoke too soon. The file extension of the files we
want to receive are .PCF. It's data exported from a financial
application our customers use.
I created an "allow" entry for it in "filename.rules.conf". I thought
that would fix it. However, when I sent a test email with a sample
PCF format, it came back with a "executables not allowed" error.
I ran "file" on the sample.pcf file and it comes back as:
point.pcf: VAX-order 68k Blit mpx/mux executable
Well, it definitely ain't a VAX executable.
How do I create the appropriate allow rule in
"filetype.rules.conf" to permit this attachment to go through?
I still want to deny other executables.
TIA,
Mike
