f-prot update

For some reason I always get this error in y mail logs when mailscanner
tries to update f-prot
 
Updates download from http://updates.f-prot.com failed. Suspect server
could not be reached, 
 
But if I run the mailscanner virus update script manually it works fine.
Any ideas why this would happen ?
