just installed MailScanner 4.36 on Fedora core 2

    [ Some characters may be displayed incorrectly. ]

After  I start Mailscanner, then check the status. I get a failed
message for incoming sendmail.

when I loook at

var/log/maillog/    i get this

Dec 15 22:44:10 email sendmail[18499]: daemon MTA: problem creating SMTP
socket
Dec 15 22:44:15 email sendmail[18499]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root):
opendaemonsocket: daemon MTA: cannot bind: Address already in use

any ideas
