You might want to look into clamav-milter when installing clamav, if you
want to scan for viruses first; you'll also want to use milter-ahead, for
example, if you're receiving mail for someone else and relaying it to them.

1. opinion varies, there have been issues with all distributions at one
point or another. You could look at whitebox or toa linux which are RHES
clones, as alot of people seem to like those.

        mailwatch
