Don't under-estimate how much of a big deal these two are.  Our company is
relatively F/OSS-friendly, but our CTO is a BIG (huge actually) M$ fan.
There's no way in hell he would've allowed us (the "server sluts" as he
affectionately calls us) to implement MailScanner if it was  going  to cost
him up front, but in the same breath he said if it doesn't have the option
for "proper" support contracts/services etc, it wont happen either.

So we went ahead and installed it for $0,  and the CTO is happy coz if any of
us sendmail/*nix whores leave his predominately winderz-shoppe he can get
support for the mail filter that has saved us from EVERY mail-bourne virus
threat for the last 2 years :)  He wins, we win, the users can't get porn, so
yah, we win again :P
