Hi Ronnie,

        I'm not much of a hockey fan myself, so I don't think we'll have any 
problems. :)

        Now, let me get to you questions. You would need to point the primary MX 
record to the new ip, which ensim originally created as mail.example.com . 
Once the mail starts arriving, you will have to have the domains in the 
relay.allow (or relay-domains) file, and also in the mailertable. The 
relay-domains (relay.allow) tells the mail server to allow mail from those 
domains to be sent through your mail server.

The mailertable file then tells the mailserver that mail for those domains 
need to be forwarded to the mail server that you put in brackets.  

So your relay-domains (or relay.allow) need to have a line like this:

example.com

Then your mailertable needs a line like this:

example.com             smtp:[mail.example.com]

If you do not have the domain in the relay-domains (or relay.allow) file, your 
mail server will reject the mail with a relaying denied error.
