Whitelist vs Spam List Precedence

Hi All,

I have a market news feed service whose mailserver got
listed in ORDB last night.

Since the news feed comes through looking a little spammy
even with bayes training, I had whitelisted it and it had been
delivered correctly until last night. It appears their ISP's mailserver
has been listed in ORDB since then.

Now, since their mailserver has been listed in ORDB,
it gets tagged immediately as spam.

Given the data I have, it appears that Spam List over-rides
anything in the Whitelist ruleset.

Am I correct in this thinking? And if not, is there a way to
get whitelist_from to overide the Spam List?

I have several users who seem it take it as a personal
affront that some of their mail has the word {Spam}
prepended to the subject line.

The only way to remedy their new found loss of self importance
regarding this situation is to email and call me with rather
rude suggestions I should do if I don't fix it. Several of which
are anatomically impossible. I'm not that limber.

Thanks,

Mike
