I haven't been having luck w/ Solaris for Intel sun support.
I had a consultant in for 8 hours the other day trying to install
solaris 9 (for intel) on a sunfire V60x. No dice.
The hardware support for solaris for intel is abysmal.
The online HCL isn't even updated to reflect products that I've found
advertized as working w/ solaris for intel.

I've got a 1 terabyte array running w/ a 3ware controller + IDE drives.
I'm very happy w/ it.
