infinite monkeys: slightly OT

Does anyone remember exactly when the infinite monkeys lists went
offline? Seems to me that it was sometime late December or January.

I just read an article about a study done at Plymouth University where
they tested, albeit briefly, the theory that monkeys would or could
eventually type the complete works of Shakespeare.

It seems all they produced were pages upon pages with the letter "s".
