Spam Tagging on HTML email

Hello

 I have a quesy regarding HTML email. I use the option to strip
 HTML tags, but then it '''appears''' that the email isn't checked
 to see if its SPAM?
 Also, I use a procmail rule to log incoming mail. It's set to
 record the subject line, is the subject line not a part of the
 html email header? [reason I ask here is that the log doesn't
 show a subject line for html email?]
