Update rules settings on the fly

Hi all

Just a quick one...

We're playing around with a custom install at the moment where the rules
might be updated/changed every few minutes as users add to their whitelists
and blacklists etc., etc
My understanding is that to get MS to recognise any new rules we need to
run:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/MailScanner reload
However, on a busy system, a lot of connections and reconnections to the
database etc., etc. is probably not advisable.

Is there anyway of getting MS to check for new rules without reloading the
entire application?
