(NEWBIE) no change to messages after intalling mailscanner

I have set up mailscanner on a late version of SuSe via the rpm.  It stopped
to have me run the script for installing MakeMaker.  MakeMaker installed
fine and then I ran the install script again and it appeared to run without
incodent.  I then made the changes in the installation description for
PostFix.  All appears to have gone well.  I now start both the incoming and
outgoing PostFix servers and the MailScanner and the log appears to reflect
success.  I checked my incoming mail and the headers do not include the line
MailScanner is supposed to append.  There are also no entries in the log
coming from mailscanner after the child processes are started.  All other
entries are from postfix and none appear to include anything that has to do
with MailScanner.  How do I troubleshoot this?  If the postfix/master.cf
file I have remarked (#) the smtp line and the postfix.in/master.cf file I
left it un-remarked, doesn't recieving mail prove that it is being handed
from one postix to the other postfix by MailScanner?

The MailScanner.conf file has:

Virus Scanning = yes
Virus Scanners = none

Which I believe to be correct.  Where do I go from here?
