Would doing an rpm --rebuild of the SpamAssassin .src.rpm be as effective as
installing SA from the tarball?

Basically that's what I just did, only in a different form.. correct? The
rpm was a source rpm, it unpacks it, compiles it, then packs it back into
rpm form for installation.
Let me know if I'm going astray here...
