I got MailScanner running again by reloading the previous versions of 
Perl.

I'm running MS 4.23.11 w/Spamassassin 2.44 and RH 8 with all the current 
errata and security patches (except for Perl now...)

My perl version is now 5.8.0-55 instead of 5.8.0-88.3
