Urm - I change all three. I am no expert but Basically the resolv.conf under
/var/spool/postfix[.in]/etc is a copy of /etc/resolv.conf. I think that the
postfix processes use the appropriate config files under
/var/spool/postfix[.in]/etc. Not sure why but its called a chroot install of
postfix?!
Anyway unless you are trying to do something weird all three should be the
same.

I cannot answer this question, because I've never seen a machine with more
than one (valid) resolv.conf file, and I'm also a sendmail user.
Please can someone who knows about Postfix explain why it might want
multiple
resolv.conf files? I find this an odd concept...
