I've been experimenting with TrendMicro's scanner.  I'm not sure of the
pricing (it's free for home use) but this is the fastest scanner I've
used.  I mean...this sucker is really quick!

TrendMicro updates their virus files in a timely fashion and I wrote my
own update script to work with MailScanner's update_virus_scanners script.
 So far it has caught every virus that's hit my system.  I use it with
ClamAV and F-Prot.
